A few weeks ago, I discovered dried mulberries at the grocery store. Advertised as raw, vegan and full of nutrients, I bought them. To my delight, they were sweet and delicious and I suddenly wanted to sprinkle them on everything.

Because of this, these berries are great for digestive health, improving circulation, and as a powerful defensive for the immune system. Therefore, in my opinion, a great food to start your day with!

Cinnamon Banana Cereal
Dried mulberries are similar to the consistency of granola or cereal, so I tried eating them this way.
Just simply slice a banana and sprinkle a little cinnamon.
Sweet Apple Oatmeal
After boiling the oats, I added pieces of chopped apple, cinnamon, and a little agave. Let simmer so that the apple soften. After cooling a bit, I added the mulberries. They give this oatmeal breakfast a bit of sweetness and texture, which I loved.
For creamier oats, pour almond milk on top!
Coconut Yogurt Granola
If you haven’t tried this coconut-based yogurt, you absolutely have to. Yogurt was something I missed dearly after going vegan and I am so happy I get to indulge again. This brand even has live cultures and probiotics included.
Add mulberries as a sugar free replacement for granola.
Almond Butter Banana Ice Cream
This was actually a late night snack, but I would definitely eat it for breakfast as well.
In the food processor combine frozen bananas, a splash of non-dairy milk and a teaspoon of vanilla. Blend until smooth. Next, top with almond butter and mulberries.
